Liv the Sword:
Liv has taken the day to browse the new nightlife of the city but found herself drawn to Wave hill on a patrol, perhaps it was something special about the city or the fact she just wanted a nice place to view the world around her but she came here to try and feel something... whatever that maybe...
Ciara Thorne:
Ciara wasn't on 'patrol' so much as enjoying an evening on her own. She'd missed so much of life that even though she was now apparently in her thirties, she didn't really feel like it. Some nights she loved the club and bar crowds- the press of humanity... and other nights she felt more in need of space. Thus, the Wave Hill garden. The Bright One stood out in the dark to others of the fae, her hellfire halo burning brightly above her head and smelling faintly of sulfur.
Liv the Sword:
Liv greet Caira with her usual monotone expressions. Her features sharp and cold to the touch but she just bowed towards her with a smile. "Hello Miss Ciara..."
Ciara Thorne:
She smiled warmly to her fellow elemental and inclined her head in return. "Liv! How are you doing? How's the boxing training gig going for you?"
Liv the Sword:
"About as well as can be." She said walking up to Ciara with a small bow of her head again. It was hard for her to full grasp emotions but she was doing her best at least. "I always expect to see you there though..."
Ciara Thorne:
"I wasn't up for dealing with a hoard of early twenty-something people that I look at and instinctively think I should be the same age as tonight," Ciara said with a sigh. "So I'm out for a walk and coming to terms with the fact I got told I was to old to flirt the other day."
Liv the Sword:
She cocked her head a bit and looked at her. "Too old to flirt?" She asked.
Ciara Thorne:
Ciara rolled her eyes, but grinned. "Apparently to some kids, being in my thirties is nearing antiquation. My mind, it boggled."
Liv the Sword:
Liv shrugged it off as if to say "Who cares what they think?" in her movements. "I for one think you're well in age to flirt..."
Ciara Thorne:
"Damn right I am. It just... threw me for a bit of a loop and I didn't want to dive back into that environment again tonight. So what you up to? Looking for trouble?"
Liv the Sword:
"Always am..." Liv nodded putting her knuckles together with a smile and a nod.
Ciara Thorne:
"Find any yet?" she asked lightly.
Liv the Sword:
She looked down and shook her head a bit dissapointed with herself so say that.
Ciara Thorne:
Ciara laughed. "Well that's not a bad thing. Means the area is safe for everyone that doesn't have your skill in a fight too."
Liv the Sword:
"You... do have a point." She stated with a small nod bobbing up and down like a desktop bird.
Ciara Thorne:
"There are worse parts of the city to stalk if you really want a fight," she teased.
Liv the Sword:
"Like?" Liv asked. "And how do I get there?"
Ciara Thorne:
Ciara gave Liv a long look. "What's your real purpose behind looking for a fight?" she asked instead. "What are you trying to accomplish?"
Liv the Sword:
"...Dis...traction..." Liv sighed no point in hiding it. "I want to... feel something when I fight so I'm looking for trouble to help me acomplish it..."
Ciara Thorne:
She nodded. "Alright. Do you feel the same distraction when you're training other people to fight? Or only when you let loose against someone you consider an enemy?"
Liv the Sword:
"It can be both... so long as it involves fighting..." She looked down at her arm with brief memories of herself being trapped in his sworded form playing in her mind. She'd rather not remember it right now though so pushed the thought aside.
Ciara Thorne:
"Then I'll make a deal with you," Ciara offered. "My hand to hand skills are abysmal, and my swordwork could use some real practice too. If you ever want a fight just to feel something, call me. Don't fight just to fight, find a purpose outside yourself if you're going to unleash violence on mortals."
Liv the Sword:
"That could work." She nodded slowly and smiled. "I'd be happy to train you..."
Ciara Thorne:
She grinned and offered her hand. "Thank you. I'll be happy to learn. Wrath beats in my heart but I've never been very good with indiscriminate violence."
Liv the Sword:
She accepted the hand back. Liv was cold to the touch as ice danced along her palms.* "I'll gladly help you." She stated with a smile.
Ciara Thorne:
Ciara let a spark of glamour ignite between them, Sealing their bargain. Her own skin seemed normal. Beyond the infernal halo, the changes to her mien were subtle things- pointed ears, reddish eyes. The haze of smoke from the halo wasn't even really visible in the darkness. "There'll always be a battle for us to fight, you know. We're surrounded by too many enemies for there not to be."
Liv the Sword:
Two spend the rest of the night talking about various moves of fighting Liv can do and show off to Ciara.
