The Basics
Nature is a dichotomy, and so is Sakura.
There's something wholesome and rejuvenating about a woodland stream on a warm day, the nourishment of fresh fruit and the sanctuary of cool shade. Sakura is likewise pleasant and invigorating presence, a smiling young woman who'd be delighted to take you on a nature walk or otherwise provide encouragement. She wears a blending of practical and fashionable clothing, found in sundresses or hiking gear depending on the occasion. Sakura speaks animatedly with the faint hint of a Japanese accent, made significantly more prominent when she's conversing with her aunt, Lily Takahashi, whom Sakura often helps entertain guests when she's in town.
Nature is also ruthless, deadly, and uncompromising. Plants, seemingly placid and passive, are an ever active force that constantly evolves to find new ways to protect and kill, using poison or other specialised adaptations. All uratha know the ferocity of their own rage, and Sakura would say she has an honest, healthy relationship with being an apex predator. There are many reasons when taking a life is the correct, natural answer to a problem, but those moments can and must be carried out with dignity and respect. Its only natural then that Sakura prefers to strike in such a way that her prey is dead before they've realised they've been wounded. She speaks coldly, with ritual poetry to consecrate significant kills.
But most only see Sakura as a kind, bubbly, and occasionally chaotic lover of the outdoors. She's the kind of girl you can take home to meet your parents - and she'll put flowers on your father's grave when she kills him for being Claimed. Reserved and kind. Cold and ruthless. That's Sakura.

The Witch Wolf - Sakura was abducted and tortured by the Bale Hound known as the Witch Wolf, along with Tajj and Salim. She joined the Keepers in the aftermath.
