If that is the case, Alder Archon Nuria Crossler is an example of what that can look like in the best of cases after hundreds of years. The formal language of the Invictus does away with names entirely. Mister Almoner. Madam Judex. Elders such as the Alder Archon provide insight into the origins of this quirk. She would greatly prefer you forget she is a person at all, and instead see her the way she sees herself: As a watchful enforcer of The Traditions.

- Detached - The Alder Archon isn't interested in making friends, she has a job to do. You can best gain her respect by treating her as the personification of her duties, which are to always be watching, investigating, and yes, spying in and outside of the court. Attempts to curry favor will only lead her to assume you 'need' her favor to overlook some indiscretion. The only exception is the rare neonate that comes to the Invictus without a Sire to teach them. For these kindred only, she has the patience as an Au Pair to show them the ropes, ensuring that they need never cross paths in the future, or otherwise culling the unfit in the cradle.
- Prima Invicta - Nuria Crossler is a transplant from Washington D.C. She is held in high esteem by the First Estate at a regional level, and has low tolerance for the shenanigans of other covenants. Only The Invictus understands the necessity of the Masquerade. Only the First Estate is ready to do what is required to maintain Kindred Society in perpetuity. Everything else is noise in the signal.
