Johnny is mistrustful of authority and those who wield it. Between his mortal life and his upbringing as a neonate, he encountered many who sought power for power's sake and used it for personal ends while closing the door behind themselves and punching down at those who would try to walk in their footsteps. He's not as rebellious as other firebrands in the face of such people, however. He's able to work directly under Princes and alongside Scourges and Hounds with few ruffled feathers. His sometimes overly casual and irreverent perspective can get him in trouble, but it's measured by the respect with which he treats every kindred, high or low in stature. That respect is born of an understanding that they are all very, very dangerous. |  |
Humanitarian
| Johnny is young, and still holds an attachment to the human condition. He understands that Kindred are monsters, but makes efforts to minimize and counterbalance that. He regularly engages with the city's nightlife and can be found playing pool or throwing axes or just seeing the sights and meeting up with people. He believes that rigidly sticking to just Kindred contacts is a quick path to disconnecting and losing perspective. He freed the ghoul his sire forced on him at significant cost to himself, and finds the entire practice reprehensible. He's known to put himself out there to help others simply because he can, but is also defiant of those who claim authority or attempt to maneuver him or others into obligation. |  |

| Johnny is very experienced in combat for his age, and he wasn't long in the city before his work as a courier was traded for work as a warrior. He has hunted down lawbreakers, freakish creatures that preyed on the city, and surfaced threats to the court and the kindred within it. He has worked with the office of the Sheriff while maintaining his independence, taking only the jobs he wanted and conducting his own investigations. | |
