Franklin Kirby was exactly what the Ventrue wanted: Great looks and the brains to go along with it. There is only one issue, he walks with a visible limp from his left leg. To compensate for this Franklin is almost never seen without his cane, leaning on it many times while walking. Regardless of his injury, Franklin proves himself to be very capable and comfortable both in a lab and any social situation.
