| INTRODUCTION
|
Arriving in New York City roughly a year after Prince Mab's take-over, Cassian has since worked with focus and diligence in his efforts to serve his Covenant. It's mostly unknown where he originated from, but rumors suggest that he hailed from a group of nomadic savages that prowl in the forests and swamps of New England, lawless vampires that pay heed to no Praxis nor authority but their own. Rumors really, but his previous group's brutality might've lended some credence to that. Cassian sells his services to anyone willing to pay, and unless their motives completely clash with his, will typically agree to the dirtiest and raunchiest of deeds. He works closely with the Crone Primogen, some saying that he's turned into her own personal lap-dog, blindly hounding her enemies and offering blood tithes to the Witch.

- PEOPLE OF THE LAND - Bigger cults and factions within the Circle perhaps boast elaborate rituals and beliefs to their pagan gods, but none can hunt better than the People of the Land do, and Cassian mirrors this idea by devoting his time to the hunts he partakes in. Generally a nomadic group of people, although Cassian has become one of the few true settlers, but he can be found lurking at many different spots in the city to satisfy his wanderlust.
- MERCENARY - A rumble of fists in a nearby dark alley, a few gunshots breaking the dead silence of the night, a body left inside a dumpster to rot, and you might trace the culprit back to Cassian - if you're that good. He's got a knack for the criminal, beating somebody into submission or doing a quick wet-work for some cold hard cash. If you've got the cash, he's got the muscle.
- FRIENDS IN HIGH PLACES - The First Estate are a strong and influential Covenant, no doubt, and Cassian has friendly ties to these people. He's worked with many from this Covenant, from Kindred who simply sought his mercenary-like services to those who wanted to form a better lasting bond than just employer and employee. He doesn't shy away from meeting face-to-face with an Invictus agent, making friendly conversations, sometimes in an office and over a shared blood doll, and often times concluding it with a business deal to tighten the bond. He recognizes the Covenant's power and influence, and wishes to find friends and allies amongst them.
