While Sarx claims experience and wisdom, it is reserved for his fellow Acolytes. The rest of the Court likely experiences him as an over-bearing protector, an over-sensitive acolyte, and tenacious to a fault. He was one of the first Acolytes to enter the city after Amahle was granted entrance. His unwavering allegiance to Covenant over all has put him at odds with the Prince and Sheriff during his time in NYC. He is tolerated in the city because his willingness to face any threat has benefitted the city, even if that wasn't Sarx's goal.

- Walker of the Philosophy - The Circle of the Crone has roles within the Covenant for those who dedicate their Requiem towards a specific philosophy of the Covenant. These are meant to be temporary, and Acolytes change roles to fight against the static nature of vampires. Sarx has always been dedicated to these ideals. He started as a Fool, where he exposed hidden truths without shame, fear, or self preservation; then became a Hero, a warrior for the Covenant who looked for conflict to grow from; and now serves as a Father, a guiding figure to share his experience with younger Acolytes, who is not afraid to use a stern hand when needed.
- Priest of Nemesis - Sarx respects and obeys Amahle Ellis, but he worships his Goddess: Nemesis, the Greek goddess of vengeance against those who succumb to hubris. He allows others to worship what they like, but he does not worship any other goddess than Nemesis. As a Priest of Nemesis, he considers retribution to be an act of divine creation; to not seek vengeance is cowardice and inaction when an opportunity to grow shows itself.
- Every Acolyte's Big Brother - As a Father, Sarx's main duty is towards the growth of the younger Acolytes. To offer wisdom when they are lost, to give them strength when they need a helping hand, and ensure they can explore and make mistakes. Sarx takes the latter one very seriously and is constantly on the lookout for threats to the Circle; and sometimes overbearing in ensuring there are no threats..
